We are also learning about seeds and plants. Through our pumpkin carving and follow - up activities we have learned about the parts of a pumpkin and sequenced the growth of a pumpkin plant from seed to a big, orange pumpkin. Coming soon is the planting of seeds for our Little Green Thumbs indoor garden. If you are interested in assisting us with our indoor garden, please let me know via email.
For our Remembrance Day Assembly, you are welcome to join us. In the event that our assembly is not finished by 11:20 AM you are more than welcome to stay with your child. Depending on the circumstances, I will ask that your child remain at the front of the gym while I take the students to get ready for home time.
On Monday, November 7 our new School Assistant, Jocelyn Babcock joins us at Dr. Coffin. Jocelyn will be in the Office assisting Mrs. Rennie from 8:30 to 9:30 AM and in the Kindergarten classroom from 9:30 to 11:30 (with a recess break from 10:30 to 10:45).
