What a great morning of sharing, drawing and printing words for the letter 'S'!
Everyone did so well listening on the carpet and working in their printing duo tangs.
Our grade 5/6 friends came in to talk to us about raising 'Toonies' for our Terry Fox run. We have a container in our classroom for our students to contribute change for the Cancer Fund. We talked very briefly about Terry Fox and his run for Cancer Awareness and Research. In Kindergarten, I do not go into too much detail about Terry Fox and his Cancer. Our students certainly remembered that stamina is important for our 'jogging' and 'focus' on our work.
